Create your account
You manage OptSens from the dashboard at my.optsens.com. Creating an account takes a minute. You confirm your email once, then sign in.
- Open my.optsens.com and click Register.
- Choose how to sign up:
- Email and password: enter your full name, email and a password, then click Register.
- Register with Google or Register with Microsoft: sign in with that provider and skip the password.
- We send a verification link to your email. Open the email and click the link to activate your account. The link expires in 1 hour.
If the email does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. You can request a new link from the sign-up confirmation screen or the login page.
Password requirements
When you sign up with email and password, the password must have:
| Requirement |
|---|
| At least 8 characters |
| One uppercase letter |
| One number |
| One special character |
The form shows a strength meter and checks each requirement as you type.
After your email is confirmed, go to my.optsens.com and click Log in. Use the same method you signed up with: email and password, Continue with Google, or Continue with Microsoft.
If you registered with Google or Microsoft, sign in with that same provider. Mixing methods on one email can leave you unable to sign in.
Two-factor authentication
If you enabled two-factor authentication on your account, you enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app after your password. You can use a backup code instead if you do not have the app to hand.
Common sign-up problems
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| An account with that email already exists | Use Log in instead, or reset your password. |
| Verify your email address before signing in | Open the verification link we emailed you first. |
| Your verification link has expired | Sign in with your email and password and we send a fresh link. |
| Too many attempts. Wait a moment and try again | Pause for a minute, then retry. |
