Commissions and payouts

When a payment is made for a domain attributed to your organization, a commission is recorded. Owners track commissions and request payouts on the Affiliate page.

How a commission is calculated

A commission is created when an attributed domain is paid for, both on the first purchase and on each renewal.

The commission base is the subscription's monthly price multiplied by the number of months in the billing period, excluding VAT and usage-based charges. The applicable rate is your tier rate for the domain's current year.

Commissions apply to standard plans. Custom Enterprise agreements and invoice-billed subscriptions are excluded.

The commission ledger

The Affiliate page lists each commission with:

  • The date.
  • The domain, shown masked for privacy (for example t**********.com).
  • The type: Referral (an external customer) or Own (a domain on your own account that used the code).
  • The applied rate.
  • The amount.
  • The status.

You can filter the ledger by status.

Commission statuses

StatusMeaning
PendingRecorded, clearing before it can be paid
ApprovedCleared and ready to be included in a payout
PaidIncluded in a payout that was paid out
VoidedCancelled (for example after a refund)

The four totals

The page shows four figures at a glance: active referrals, earned this month, available to request, and lifetime paid.

Payouts

When you have enough approved commission, request a payout.

  1. Add your bank details in the bank info card.
  2. Make sure your available balance meets the minimum payout threshold shown on the page. The minimum can be adjusted per partner.
  3. Choose Request payout.

Payouts are paid in RSD, EUR or USD. Your bank details are snapshotted at the moment you request. Later edits do not affect a pending payout.
